Our Elsie Inglis nursery in Abbeyhill offers a warm and welcoming environment, designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff support your child’s transition from home to nursery, and we pride ourselves on providing a safe, exciting and enjoyable nursery where children can thrive.
Baby and toddler rooms are vibrant and enriching, with a sensory room and play resources to spark the imagination. With our well-equipped, age-appropriate gardens, children can extend their play and learning outside.
Our unique Growing Enhancement programme aimed at preschoolers encourages children’s natural curiosity to learn. The focus is on reading, writing and mathematics, alongside vocational subjects such as art and cooking, giving every child the opportunity to gain the knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.
At Elsie Inglis we provide excellent nutritionally-balanced menus using fresh ingredients prepared by our own chef and this is cooked on site at the Nursery.
Elsie Inglis Early Learning and Childcare is conveniently located with excellent transport links to the city centre and Edinburgh Bypass, as well being less than 10 minutes from Waverley train station. We are within walking distance of Holyrood Park and we have a convenient buggy park to help make drop-off as easy for you as possible.
