The most important skill or characteristic that a primary care doctor could have would be a connection with the patient, especially if you?re outpatient. I think a lot of things can sometimes be missed in communication. That?s something that I like to say that I pride myself on. I think that working with people to accomplish their goals is much better than telling someone what they can do.
