My favorite part of being a healthcare provider is witnessing its positive impact on an individual's quality of life. As an audiologist, I get to see how life-changing something as simple as a hearing aid can be—not only for the patient but also for their families and loved ones.
I evaluate, diagnose and treat hearing loss, balance issues and tinnitus. I prescribe and fit hearing aids, recommend assisted listening devices and provide hearing rehabilitation.
I studied communications and public relations at the University of Portland before pursuing my doctorate in audiology at the University of Northern Colorado.
My approach to health care is patient-centered. I hold respect for the experiences and values of every single person who walks through the clinic doors. Healthcare settings can be scary, and I try to treat each patient with empathy and put them at ease throughout the process.
