Pre Salesperson's Course

Real estate sale contracts/agreements of sale; 6. Leasing and property management; 7. Transfer of title/ownership/deeds; 8. Settlement procedures; 9. Financing; 10. Professional responsibilities and ethics; 11. Fair housing; 12. Federal laws affecting real estate

    Pre Broker's Course

    Applicant Qualifications: twenty one years or over, subject to the jurisdiction of MS, the income tax laws, other excise laws, the road and bridge privilege tax laws; shall not be an elector in any other state; shall have held a license as an active real estate salesperson for twelve months immediately prior to making application; completed a minimum of one hundred twenty hours of courses in real estate; completed the real estate broker's examination; cleared a background investigation.

      Post Salesperson's Course

      Mandatory Upon passing the Mississippi salesperson's examination and complying with all other conditions for licensure, a temporary license shall be issued to the applicant. A temporary license shall be valid for a period of one (1) year following the first day of the month after its issuance.

        Post Broker's Course

        Mandatory Upon passing the Mississippi broker's examination and complying with all other conditions for licensure, a temporary license shall be issued to the applicant. A temporary license shall be valid for a period of one (1) year following the first day of the month after its issuance.

          Continuing Education

          Renewal of a license shall, on or before the expiration date of his license, or at a time directed by the commission, must submit proof of completion of sixteen (16) clock hours of approved course, in addition to any other requirements for renewal. The sixteen (16) clock hours' course work requirement shall apply to each two-year license renewal.

            EXCEL YOURSELF®

            Up until the EXCEL Yourself® Designation series of courses, real estate professional education has focused on forms, laws and procedures. The EXCEL Yourself® Designation series of courses is based off each person’s individual’s TYPE personality.
